About Gelder Thompson
On April 1st, 2006, a newly integrated company emerged in Charlotte, NC. Gelder & Associates, Inc. of Raleigh, NC, currently doing business in the Charlotte area as Marsh Paving, are joining forces with Thompson Contracting, Grading, Paving & Utilities, Inc. of Raleigh, NC. Gelder has a rich history of excellence in paving as well as Contracting and has completed a large number of projects in the Raleigh area. Thompson has grown from a one man, one truck, one tractor operation into a $50 million a year company in Raleigh doing projects of various sizes. Gelder and Thompson have been working with one another on various projects for several years and have decided to take their expertise in their respective fields and combine them together to produce a distinguished collaboration. With the merger of the two companies we hope to bring to the Charlotte market what we have been fortunate enough to bring to the Raleigh market: Strong client based companies that build on partnerships from start to finish - within the time limits and at a profit for all involved.
